“Bro, did you stop working on your novel? you haven’t updated the blog in weeks.”
The Festival of Books is coming this weekend. I will be moderating a panel called “Surf Culture: Shooting the Tube.” I did not name this panel.
On my panel will be Steve Hawk, David Rensin, Steven Kotler, and Kem Nunn.
Tod Goldberg, who always finds time to blog, has written a great primer to the festival.
I will be reading at UC San Diego next week.
This is especially exciting because I will be teaching there in the fall, as a visiting writer.
Yes, I’ll be commuting. I’m hoping Colin will fly me down a couple of times. Other than that, I’m all about the pre-dawn departure, the morning sesh in SD County, followed by office hours and class.
