Thanks, dude. But I said 2112. Which is a Rush album that takes place 100 years after the Mayan apocalypse. Seriously, is 100 years too much to ask to pen a follow-up?

One of my teachers encouraged her writing students to think of themselves as "a genius with much to learn." Keep your confidence up, but your eyes open. It always stuck with me.

I disagree with #4 because *I* care how clever you are. In fact, even if it makes your life as a novelist more difficult, I would like you to continue to try to be as clever as possible.

And I think #1 might be really important.

Please write a note to the 48yr old Antoine next. Not the one crushed under the tsunami, the other one that lives. Short note to the former: Sorry, hella ride though, right?

Me too, i haven't got the chance to stumble upon Von Neumann probes. But regarding the possibility of life out there can be something we can ponder on. The thought of having other planets and other galaxies aside than Milky Way, makes it more probable to conclude that there could be another version of Earth somewhere there. Or maybe there could be a place like AVATAR somewhere our technologies can't reach.

Ahh yes, ass in chair...perfect! I like the idea of a tomorrow.doc. I called my projects in the works. Sounds like a great way to keep tabs on scrap papers of ideas. As many of us joke, we have lists for our lists! ...thanks for sharing :-)
